FACILITIES OPERATIONS ENGINEER

Job Description

Facilities Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) System, NVCA (Nitrogen, Vacuum & Compressed Dry Air) System, PWS (Power System) and all Auxiliary equipment for the uninterrupted supply of these utilities to the entire plant particularly production operation, general offices, and all other support areas.

Responsibilities

• Managed daily operations, maintenance scheduling, and contractor activities for all facilities systems and utilities.
• Ensured rapid response and resolution of production and facility-related issues to maintain operational continuity.
• Conducted regular inspections and monitoring of facilities equipment to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance.
• Implemented preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs to improve system availability.
• Drove continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Led energy-saving and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintained compliance with government regulations, permits, audits, and internal standards.
• Supported contractor management, safety orientation, performance monitoring, and documentation control.
• Maintained safe, clean, and organized facilities and equipment areas.
• Managed critical spare parts inventory, tools, and maintenance resources.
• Managed end-to-end project execution including scope development, budgeting, procurement, and scheduling.
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related courses
  
  

Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related industry.
  
  

Skills

• Knowledge on the operation, control, maintenance, and repair of pumps, electric motors, fans, blowers, electrical and power panels, air-conditioning equipment (centralized, packaged & unitary units),
• Demonstrates proficiency in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• Electronics or semiconductor manufacturing processes plus understanding of Cleanroom, OSHA, Safety and other regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of PLC, motor control, pumps, air conditioning and electronics.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shows initiative and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to recommend system upgrades, optimize resource usage, and support sustainability and cost-reduction efforts.
• knowledge of computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Skilled in developing simple mechanical designs and executing machining and fabrication of facilities equipment parts.
