About The Role

Location: Calumpit, Bulacan

Role Type: Full-time

Department: Shared Services

Reporting to: Purchasing and Inventory Management Assistant Manager

Work schedule: 5-day work week

As a Purchasing Specialist, you will process the acquisition of critical categories, including importation tracking and settlement. You will also ensure quality and timely delivery of all manufacturing plant requirements such as wires, switchgear and PVC, among others. Additionally, you will prepare special reports, conduct vendor accreditation, and evaluation assistance for the team.

Other responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for the processing of purchase requests and special project requirements from bidding/canvass, purchase order creation and goods receiving and liquidation of advances, among others.
• Purchase of imported items including tracking and settlement
• Source, accredit, and evaluate of vendors including site inspection
• Verification, coordination and monitoring of charging of all purchased assets.
• Preparation and consolidation of reports that may be assigned
  
  
  

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year Business or Business-related course.
• At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing and/or Importation.
• Good oral and written English communication skills .
• Knowledge in the importation process and general ledger accounts is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned in Calumpit, Bulacan.
