Position Overview

Responsible for the proper and safe operation and maintenance of Spiral Freezer and its refrigeration.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform regular check-up and cleaning of air-conditioning units
• Conduct periodic maintenance of all air-conditioning units
• Inspect major system components before start-up
• Check liquid ammonia levels in the system
• Repair ammonia leaks if any
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance of Spiral Freezer refrigeration
• Perform weekly CIP of the Spiral Freezer
• Clean condenser coils and water pump.
• Monitor compressors crank case oil level.
• Conduct the schedule periodic change oil of ammonia compressors.
• Check up and servicing of cooling pumps for compressor water jackets.
• Check up and servicing of condenser blowers and shower pumps.
• Monitor room temperatures, must be at required range.
• Diagnose / troubleshoot and correct system / operation problems.
• Charge ammonia refrigerant into the system if necessary.
• Conduct cleaning of compressors and the machine room floor area.
• Perform special task/project or any assignment that maybe assigned from time to time.
  
  

• College graduate in Engineering or holder of an NC II Certificate in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning
  
  

• Preferably with at least 1-2 years related working experience
  
  

• Has excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate and coordinate with all levels of employees in the organization.
