QA Assistant JandF

Position Overview

QA Assistant with experience in food production, logistics, quality assurance, laboratory testing, and food safety compliance. Skilled in supporting production operations, conducting quality checks and audits, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards such as FSSC, HACCP, and GMP. Committed to maintaining product quality, safety, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality testing of raw, packaging, and finished goods to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform swabbing, CCP monitoring, and in-process inspections to verify food safety and sanitation.
• Identify, document, and report deviations; initiate product holds and support disposition of non-conforming goods.
• Maintain QA records and documentation (GMP, HACCP, CAPA, NCRs, etc.).
• Conduct audits, support inspections, and assist in regulatory and customer audits.
• Prepare samples, reports, and KPI updates for management review.
• Support training, inventory control, and safeguarding of QA-held products.
• Perform other QA duties as assigned.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biology or equivalent
  
  

Experience

• Preferably with at least 1-2 years related working experience.
  
  

Skills

• Has sharp attention to details
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to communicate and coordinate with all levels of employees in the organization.
• Has the ability to work independently but can also work with others in a team environment
