YOUR ROLE

This position is responsible for designing, analyzing, developing, maintaining and supporting local, manufacturing, and other related applications in the assigned area of responsibility to provide reliable and highly effective applications that are necessary to support business operations.

• APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (As needed)
• Designs, analyzes, and develops system applications based on user requirements.
• Properly update the document of exiting application based from the latest workability of the systems
• APPLICATION MAINTENANCE
• Acquires and maintains application software (As needed)
• Provides day-to-day operational/technical support to ensure the supported application is running smoothly (daily)
• SYSTEM CHANGE MANAGEMENT (As needed)
• Evaluates system changes brought about by user request or by technical necessity, determines its impact, and comes up with best approach.
• SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND ACCREDITATION (As needed)
• Installs and accredits systems that satisfy business requirements.
• DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF PROCEDURES AND CONTROLS (As needed)
• Create and maintains procedures and controls that will satisfy business requirements
• TRAINING (as needed)
• Conducts training to DTIT 1st level support and application users on proper usage and enhancements/changes in the system.
• SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, AND SECURITY (daily)
• Disseminates, explains, and complies with rules and regulations on safety, health, environment, good housekeeping, and security in the area of responsibility so that applicable rules and regulations are understood and implemented.
  

Your Skills & Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3 years experience in IT or manufacturing environment
• Programming Skills:
• Python
• C#/.Net
• Java /JavaScript
• Knowledgeable to SECS-GEM and FastTap Framework is an advantage
• Must have a good understanding of the manufacturing process as well as familiarity with common business applications and processes.
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Must have programming skills necessary to develop simple automation stand alone and web tool
• Familiarity with the local semiconductor industry is an advantage.
