The Senior Analyst Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for the planning and forecasting of monthly supply for multiple clients.
The Senior Analyst will assist in the short and long-term strategic direction for aspects specific to supply plans, including plans to drive profitability through increased production and utilization of remanufactured equipment, while ensuring product availability for claims fulfillment. The Senior Analyst will assist in promoting synergy among all business support groups of the global supply chain, and primarily does this by influencing the teams and peers in Procurement, Supplier Management as well as Operations, to ensure departmental results are delivered in accordance with the Supply Chain Planning strategic plan and Company Core Values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upload, create, and maintain planning and forecasting data
Develop and maintain build plan forecasts to support sourcing efforts, initiatives and company objectives
Comprehensive review and update of supply plan in support of sourcing efforts for multiple clients
Deliver detailed analysis of supply plans identifying and articulating change justification
Ensure appropriate safety stock levels are maintained to avoid stock out situation without risking E&O exposure
Devise plans and develop, maintain and improve upon best in class performance in forecasting, inventory levels, and service levels
Lead sourcing discussions and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
Lead and influence in a highly matrixed environment and have significant interaction with functional teams such as Procurement, Supplier Management, Client Services, Risk Management, Finance, and Operations
Devise Supply Chain Planning strategy and collaborate with Procurement and Finance to develop plans, both long-term and short-term, and reporting, to optimize equipment costs while maintaining customer experience (like-for-like, fill rate, etc.)
Build and maintain communication channels among all operational groups within the supply chain through information sharing, thought leadership, and tactical and strategic planning
Deliver analysis and data on supply chain performance (for planning and procurement – inventory levels, equipment costs, etc.)
Assist in the implementation, data management, development and operation of automated planning tools
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:
Very detail-oriented, able to identify anomalies and errors in data, and to capture trends to apply to planning model
Able to assess a variety of information, draw similarities, identify differences, and compile actionable recommendations
Exceptional financial and analytical skills, including deep knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity
Strong ability to move between tactical and strategic aspects of business
Proven ability to set direction, clearly articulate a strong point of view and influence others
Knowledge of Asurion operations highly preferred
High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environment
Ability to work under time pressures and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain management or Accounting/Finance
BS Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or other technical/mathematical field
MBA with quantitative background or other Advanced Degree preferred but not required
Highly proficient in MS Excel
Experience with an Advanced Planning System such as Kinaxis, O9, PTC, GAINSystems, DemandCast, JDA, SAS, etc.
