Purchase Requisition Management, Review purchase requests from different departments.
Supplier Sourcing & Selection, Identify and evaluate potential suppliers. Request quotations (RFQs) and compare offers. Negotiate prices, terms, and lead times.
Purchase Order (P.O.) Creation & Management. Convert approved requisitions into P.O.s. Ensure accuracy of details (item description, pricing, quantity, delivery date). Release P.O.s to suppliers in line with company policies.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and priorities thru attending meeting
Supplier Relationship Management. Maintain regular communication with suppliers. Resolve issues such as delays, quality problems, or order discrepancies.
Cost Optimization. Negotiate better prices and payment terms. Identify opportunities for savings without compromising quality.
Compliance & Documentation. Ensure purchases follow company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain proper records of P.O.s, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Coordination with Internal Stakeholders. Work closely with requestors, finance, warehouse, and logistics teams. Update stakeholders on order status and delivery schedules.
Monitoring & Reporting. Track order fulfillment and supplier performance. Prepare reports on spending, savings, and procurement activities.
Education & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles.
Skills
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
Ability to analyze quotations and contracts
ERP / Procurement Systems Proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Strategic Planning
Strong Communication and Coordination Skills
Decision-Making Ability
knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain management
