Responsible in continuous process improvement in terms of yield efficiency and lean process flow.
Process/Product/Equipment transfer, and release executes technology transfer timely and smoothly.
Line issues: resolves operational issues timely to sustain customer demands.
System establishment of procedures, improves specification and documents continuous improvement of operation.
Training and development: lead the training, certification and development of operators and technician.
Support top management priorities – support tasks as required by top management to sustain operational demands.
Education & Experience
B.Sc. Electronics Engineering (Physics, Electrical and related can apply).
At least 3 years of experience in Semiconductor or Electronics / Optoelectronics and Fiber optics industry.
Skills
With generic process engineering skills – can calculate and interpret yield and OEE, can create defect pareto, create process monitoring charts (SPC) – and use these data to formulate continuous improvement plans for the step processes and whole production line.
Knowledge in laser module advance packaging, vacuum soldering, wire bonding, fiber and optics alignment, Lidding, Temperature Cycle, Helium bomb, Fine/gross leak, Burn in test and electro optical test.
Experience in formulating PCP and PFMEA, SOP and work instructions.
Highly skilled in problem solving, root cause analysis and Yield enhancement.
Ability to create general report in excel, word and PowerPoint presentation.
Experience in statistics, SPC and variation study and analysis. Able to compute, interpret and understand data processing tools (JMP, Minitab, Excel).
Demonstrate ability to understand and create process Out of control action plan.
Ability to plan, design, perform, and execute engineering analysis and evaluation.
Able to interpret materials safety data sheets to create or form proper safety practices in each process.
Adept in business processes like Engineering Change Review and Orders, Temporary Deviations, Process Qualification Reviews, and other related business processes that is relevant to current Coherent manufacturing operations. Be able to perform these processes in accordance with Coherent work systems and standards.
