Owns and supports tester, visual inspection machines and packaging equipment
Installs, qualifies, and releases equipment into production
Develops and executes equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and capability studies
Troubleshoots equipment issues affecting product performance, yield, and reliability
Drives reduction on equipment downtime thus keeping machine OEE at or above industry standard
Optimizes equipment parameters to improve test accuracy, throughput, and repeatability
Supports NPI and product transfers, ensuring test and packaging equipment readiness
Collaborates with Process, Product and Quality Engineering teams on root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
Works with vendors on equipment installation, upgrades, calibration, and technical issues
Ensures equipment compliance with safety, ESD, contamination control, and cleanroom requirements
Maintains technical documentation including equipment specifications, procedures, and change records
Supports audits, customer visits, and technical reviews related to test and packaging equipment
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field)
3–5 years of experience in equipment or test engineering with good understanding of automation systems, PLCs, sensors, and motion control
experience working with equipment vendors and automation suppliers
Skills
Hands-on experience with laser test equipment (optical power meters, spectrum analyzers, source meters, etc)
Hands-on experience on different types or models of microscopes, Automatic Optical Inspection and vacuum sealing equipment
Familiarity with equipment qualification and Statistical Process Control
Has ability to interpret electrical or mechanical schematics or drawings
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Ability to support production during equipment down and willing to support at any given reasonable time
Knowledge of ESD control, contamination control, and cleanroom operations
Clear communication and documentation skills
High attention to detail with safety and quality mindset
Working Conditions
This role is 100% onsite working in a cleanroom and office environment.
