A day in the life of...

Provide Industrial Services Technical Expertise and Leadership in the Factory, ensuring people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised, and that all engineering activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance.

Monitor/Track Ind'l Services competencies at the factory and identify or recommend training needs and requirements of all IS personnel to ensure that competencies are up-to-date. Develop potential IS in associate position for succession planning.

Fixed Asset Planning. Execute and ensure that decisions made/implemented regarding Ind'l Services assets (incl. Investment cycle), are alignment with the Market Business Strategy. Manage accordingly all Ind'l Services data. Consistent review of IS Capacity and Utilization for timely upgrade/expansion to meet factory operation's utilities requirement.

Project Management. Implement all Ind'l Services Capital Investments, ensuring costs are within limits, acceptable workmanship, vertical start- up achieved, and reporting is aligned with Guidelines/TPM. Ensure that project execution allows adjustment to changing Operational req'ts. Involvement in early projects design to ensure proper concept will deliver improvement in Energy and Water efficiency including reduction of greenhouse gases emission.

M&I. Enable high performance Operations, by providing Ind'l Services assets' Maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy, using TPM/PM as the multi-disciplined approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle. Ensure compliance to: 1) AMM KPIs. 2) All legal compliance for IS equipment's continuous operations. 3) Quality compliance to Food Safety standards. 3) Nestle standards related to utilities’ food safety and safety in operations (Boiler, Ammonia Refrigeration, Pressure Vessels, Environment, others). Conduct Breakdown Analysis on all IS Related issues and identification of related action plans to ensure non repeat issues.

Industrial Services (Prod'n). Ensure that the Ind'l Services needs of Production are fulfilled and optimized. That all utilities that come/may come in contact with product are treated according to the food safety acceptance criteria.

E&A /MES. Ensure that the electrical services, degree of automation and MES of all Ind'l Services Assets, are in line with the Business requirements such as application of digitalization in IS, Project Horizon, JARV_IS, DMO Energy.

Energy/Water/SHE Management. Ensure optimum and sustainable Operations of all Ind'l Services Equipment, by following the Energy/Water Management approach, driving the corresponding Reporting System, respecting SHE policies and deep dive approach and identification of improvement on generation and point of use utilities consumption.

Industrial Services Optimization. Drive Ind'l Services Innovation/Renovation/Optimization, by initiating/coordinating and implementing new systems/technologies with the relevant Corporate or CO-Engineering Support Groups.

What Will Make You Successful

• Minimum 3-4 years in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Facilities Engineer/Asst. Manager, Utilities Engineer/Asst. Manager, Industrial Services Engineer/Asst. Manager, or equivalent positions)
• Fixed Assets Maintenance responsibilities, including maintenance budget preparation and control (preferably including exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning and/or maintenance execution)
• Personnel Supervision (on technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties)
• Preparation of Investment budgets >500kCHF, and acquisition of technical equipment (for Production and/or Industrial Services)
• Participation in the development of engineering projects >500kCHF, as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies, and both, the mechanical and E&A areas)
• Participation in the start-up of technical equipment(s) and/or production line(s) (preferably including industrial services supply)
• Participation in multi-disciplinary teams that focuses in Eng'g and/or Production-related Optimization/Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Self-Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them
