Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking for a Sr Manager, Global Operations Excellence who shall lead strategic development sessions and organizational initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and foster a culture of excellence across Global Supply Chain and Operations. The Sr Manager shall also leverage lean six sigma and other methodologies to drive transformation and sustainable performance improvements.

Main Responsibilities

• Refines and implements a Lean, Six Sigma program tailored to Excelitas Operations creating a custom operating system(EOS).
• Partners with teams across the organization to execute the EOS framework focused on alignment, standardization and improved performance.
• Leads Strategic Deployment sessions to connect organizational strategy to Operations and Functional Teams.
• Leads organizational initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and foster a culture of excellence across Global Supply Chain and Operations.
• Leverages Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive transformation and sustainable performance improvements.
• Formulates, implements, and harmonizes our leading manufacturing practices (systems and processes; hardware, software, and analytics) to improve collective performance.
• Provides support for advanced manufacturing and technology transfer strategic initiatives.
• Improves, streamlines, and automates manufacturing processes and systems of measure.
• Works with IT and operations, both corporate and site-level, contribute to overall architectural design of various digitization platforms.
  
  

• BS/MS in Science/Engineering with a demonstrated academic record of excellence.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in process engineering, equipment engineering or industrial engineering, preferably in the semiconductor/photonics industry.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Demonstrated track record to summarize complex data sets for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in lean six sigma/theory of constraints continuous improvement projects in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in statistical analysis and data visualization towards problem solving and influencing clear, objective, decision making.
