Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking for a Fixed Assets Accountant who shall be responsible for managing and overseeing a company’s fixed assets, ensuring accurate recording and tracking of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.

Main Responsibilities

• Leads and works with the fixed assets team to ensure proper accounting of fixed assets globally consistent with Corporate Accounting Policy.
• Records assets based on approved CAPEX investments budget, in proper cost center, proper assets classification.
• Adjustments on Purchase Price Allocation are aligned with the US GAAP push-down entries.
• Depreciation is recorded consistently (US GAAP and Local GAAP).
• Fixed assets transfers are supported and recorded correctly and timely (US GAAP and Local GAAP).
  
  

• Degree/ Diploma in Accountancy and/ or its equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in Fixed assets(FA) and other long-term assets.
• Sage Accounting System for FA is a must.
• Experience in a General ledger shared services setting.
• Excellent grasp of Fixed Assets (Property Plant and Equipment) Accounting both for US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Excel and other automation programs.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional business partnership.
• Organized, resourceful, self-starter, collaborative, with sense of urgency.
• Works independently with minimum supervision.
• Maybe working on night shift to support the North America sites.
