Job Description

A host is responsible for the following duties and tasks:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Engaging with guests who call with questions
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Rolling silverware and cleaning menus
• Managing restaurant wait list to ensure guests expectations of the wait are met
• Sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Light cleaning
  
  

• Minimum of 6 months of guest service, food service experience preferred
• Able to speak, read and understand English
• Demonstrated ability to interact with guests and fellow team members in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
• Able to communicate well
• Able to work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet deadline
• Able to effectively problem solve and analyze information
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
• Able to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
• Able to have continuous use of hands and arms; continous bending, reaching and twisting
