Role Overview

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the organizations human resources functions to support operational efficiency and workforce development. This role manages end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, training and development, and labor relations, while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in general HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, payroll, training and development, and labor relations.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a people management or leadership role, with experience supervising HR teams.
  • Preferably with experience in the logistics, supply chain, transportation, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and employee relations practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR programs that support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, performance management, training and development, and labor relations.
  • Oversee workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives to ensure the organization attracts and retains qualified personnel for operational and support roles.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee relations and labor concerns, ensuring fair and consistent handling of disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace investigations.
  • Supervise and mentor the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies while maintaining proper HR documentation and reporting.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, culture, and retention, particularly in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to align HR strategies with business needs and operational requirements.
  • Oversee HR metrics, reports, and workforce data to support management decision-making and organizational planning.
