Responsibilities
Compliant Operations: Strictly adhere to relevant Philippine Electrical Code regulations, national grid interconnection standards (NGCP), and power plant operation & maintenance procedures. Responsible for daily inspections and shift-based monitoring of the PV array, inverters, unit substations, step-up substations, and transmission lines.
Equipment Performance Monitoring: Monitor real-time power generation data and equipment operating parameters. Maintain detailed records of energy output, irradiance, equipment alarms, etc. Prepare daily generation reports and submit required daily/monthly O&M reports to project management, the owner, and other relevant entities as requested.
Operational Control: Perform equipment start/stop, power regulation, grid synchronization, and switching operations, strictly following dispatch instructions to execute all required equipment operations.
Records & Documentation Management: Diligently complete operating logs, inspection records, fault logs, and key reports. Assist the production supervisor in routine fault diagnosis and resolution, ensuring that all operation records are complete and traceable.
Preventive Maintenance & Overhauls: Develop and execute scheduled preventive maintenance plans. Organize and complete overhaul tasks as planned to ensure equipment remains in optimal operating condition.
Safety Management: Strictly comply with the plant’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and rigorously follow electrical safety procedures, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) protocols.
Qualifications
Age & Health: 22–45 years old, in good physical condition, capable of adapting to the power plant O&M environment.
Education: Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, Photovoltaic Power Generation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in large-scale ground-mounted PV power plant O&M is preferred.
Licensure (Mandatory): Must hold a valid Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license issued by a government authority (e.g., PRC).
Preferred Certification: TESDA-certified Electrician (e.g., NC II/III) in the Philippines is preferred.
Additional Certifications (Preferred): Low-voltage electrician certificate, high-voltage electrician certificate, climbing certificate, and electric power operation permit are preferred.
Language Ability: Basic English reading and writing skills, sufficient to read and understand equipment technical manuals, and to produce daily/monthly O&M reports in English as required. Ability to conduct basic English communication with the owner or government agencies is preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and NGCP interconnection requirements is preferred.
Advanced Certification (Preferred): Holder of a Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) license issued by the Philippine PRC is preferred.
Location (Preferred): Candidates residing closer to the project site (Bugallon) will be given preference.
