Position Overview

On behalf of our client, Asiacruit is urgently seeking an exceptional, cross-culturally fluent Business Administration Coordinator to be based in Bugallon, Pangasinan. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Chinese Business Manager and serve as a vital operational and cultural bridge.

This urgent vacancy requires an individual of Chinese ethnicity holding valid Philippine citizenship or permanent residency, combined with native or near-native Chinese language proficiency. You will play a key role in driving local operations, managing high-level government and community relations, and ensuring seamless internal collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Government & Community Relations
  • Assist the Chinese Business Manager in establishing and maintaining robust relationships with various levels of government agencies, community leaders, and NGOs.
  • Participate in government meetings and community forums, handling all direct liaison, on-site interpretation, and operational follow-up work.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze local policies, regulations, administrative procedures, and public sentiment to assist leadership in preparing proactive risk alerts.
  • Crisis PR & Emergency Response
  • Participate in the development of crisis PR frameworks under strategic guidance to assist in handling community disputes, environmental complaints, labor conflicts, and other operational emergencies.
  • Coordinate internal/external communications and assist with real-time information dissemination during active crises.
  • Learn and assist in drafting external corporate statements aimed at appeasing stakeholders and mitigating operational risks.
  • Media & External Communications
  • Build, update, and maintain a comprehensive contact directory of local media entities, including mainstream media, industry publications, and local social media influencers.
  • Draft, translate, and publish press releases, corporate statements, and public relations materials in fluent English and Tagalog.
  • Monitor corporate brand sentiment across major Philippine digital channels (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) and assist in basic public comment moderation and response.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Brand Image
  • Contribute to the planning and localized implementation of CSR activities that address community needs and enhance the company's regional reputation.
  • Localize international promotional materials through translation and adaptation to effectively convey corporate values and project milestones to local stakeholders.
  • Cross-Cultural Internal Support
  • Provide daily on-site interpretation and cross-cultural communication tips to the Chinese expatriate team to resolve or prevent operational misunderstandings.
  • Actively advise and remind expatriate staff of local etiquette, traditions, and cultural taboos during high-level interactions with local employees, residents, or government officials.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ethnicity & Legal Status: Must be ethnically Chinese with valid Philippine citizenship or Philippine permanent residency (with legal work authorization).
  • Language Skills: Strong, advanced proficiency in the Chinese language (Mandarin) for fluent business communication and real-time translation/interpretation, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Tagalog.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in administration, operations, or coordination roles. Prior experience in government relations, community liaison, staffing, or a BPO environment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with social media copywriting and sentiment monitoring tools (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) is a plus.
  • Industry & Compliance Exposure: Prior exposure to or contact with regulatory bodies such as NGCP, DOLE, or local law enforcement/police is considered a strong advantage.
  • Mobility: Possession of a valid Philippine driver's license and the ability to drive is a plus.

  • Adaptability to handle urgent matters outside regular office hours when required (e.g., late-night crisis communications or weekend community relations support).

Working Schedule & Recruitment Process

  • Working Schedule: 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.
  • Recruitment Process: Candidates must pass at least two comprehensive interview rounds to evaluate language capability, cross-cultural competence, and operational fit.

KPIs

Operational & Compliance Accuracy

  • Maintain 95%+ accuracy on all translation, interpretation, and local policy documentation tasks.
  • Ensure timely reporting and preparation of risk alerts related to LGU policies and regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Response Time

  • Respond to and process internal cross-cultural support requests within agreed SLA timeframes.
  • Maintain an updated, active network log of media, LGU contacts, and community influencers.

Media & Sentiment Management

  • Provide daily/weekly sentiment analysis reports for designated social channels and flag negative press immediately.
  • Deliver localized CSR project deliverables within targeted timelines.
