A03 Program Support Officer (Procurement)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Support Officer to join a high-performing team, supporting procurement activities across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.


This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will work closely with project managers and procurement specialists, playing a key role in ensuring procurement processes are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and within required timeframes.


About the Role

You will provide end-to-end procurement and administrative support, contributing to the successful delivery of projects by coordinating processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting reporting and compliance activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence working across multiple systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level procurement support, including coordination of end-to-end procurement processes
  • Assist with tendering activities, ensuring documentation and timelines are managed effectively
  • Engage contingent workers through the Fieldglass platform
  • Maintain procurement registers, spreadsheets, and reporting requirements
  • Support asset procurement, stocktaking, lifecycle reviews, and disposal processes
  • Assist in developing and improving local work practices and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, governance requirements, and WHS obligations
  • Provide support to the Senior Advisor (Procurement) and wider procurement team


About You

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using multiple systems, databases, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Previous experience in procurement or administration (desirable)
  • Experience with Fieldglass or similar systems (highly regarded)
