FSJ Online-Team*

in Bonn

You can start your FSJ with us from 15 July 2026 (a later start date may also be possible). You will work at our headquarters in Bonn Bad Godesberg. The service period can be recognized as a waiting period for university admission.

As a volunteer in the FSJ in Political Life, you will gain comprehensive insight into the digital communication of one of Germany’s largest aid organizations. The Online Team manages Welthungerhilfe’s website and social media channels, implements communication and marketing campaigns, and works closely with colleagues in Germany and abroad. You will support the team in various areas, ranging from content production for the website and social media to online marketing activities and search engine optimization, as well as administrative tasks. The FSJ-P is offered to young people aged 15 to 26 and is designed to last twelve months. An accommodation and mobility allowance may be granted.

Your responsibilities

  • Creative development of content and posts for the website and social media
  • Data management within administrative processes (Excel, visualization tools, etc.)
  • Management of online fundraising campaigns and social media community management
  • Implementation of own focus projects (marketing, editorial, technical)
  • Support in analyzing online user behavior (tracking)
  • Organization of meetings and workshops
  • Research activities (text, images, tools)

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your secondary school diploma (Abitur) or a Bachelor’s degree
  • You are between 15 and 25 years old
  • You have a strong affinity for digital media and enjoy communicating
  • You are creative and enjoy producing texts and multimedia content
  • You are interested in development policy issues
  • You are interested in pursuing a career in marketing, PR, or communications
  • You are well organized and work thoroughl
  • You have very good German and good English language skills
