We are now looking for a dynamic Maintenance Development Manager to lead and develop maintenance operations in close cooperation with a key customer. This strategic role focuses on HSE excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement, while ensuring strong financial performance and operational efficiency. You will be located in Zaragoza area, Spain.

Your activities, in detail

• Maintenance Development: Drive continuous improvement and optimize maintenance operations in collaboration with the customer.
• Leadership: Lead a team of maintenance professionals
• HSE Excellence: Act as a role model and ensure full team commitment to safety standards.
• Financial Management: Own budgets, P&L, KPIs, and cost control.
• Team Development: Promote training, performance evaluation, and team-building culture.
• Customer Relations: Build strong partnerships, resolve issues, and participate in agreement negotiations.
• Process Innovation: Implement new methods, improve workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Resource Management: Oversee subcontractors and additional resources for shutdowns and replacements.
  
  

Who Is The Candidate We Are Looking For

• BSc/MSc in engineering (mechanical, electrical, pulp and paper manufacturing processes)
• 10+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire teams.
• Fluent in Spanish & English.
• Knowledge of paper industry maintenance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to make things happen.
• Proficiency in Excel and understanding of local regulations.
