Were seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our team remotely by managing early-stage planning and coordination that sets each project up for success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing complex information, working cross-functionally, and ensuring projects are fully prepared before construction begins.

Schedule Requirement

This is a full-time remote role operating Monday through Friday, aligned with U.S. Eastern Time business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET).

Your Role

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will partner with Project Managers to organize and oversee all pre-build activities. Your work will ensure projects are well-defined, documented, and ready for seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pre-construction planning to ensure projects start efficiently
• Organize timelines, budgets, estimates, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach, bid collection, and proposal comparisons
• Review plans and scopes of work for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare detailed handoff packages for field and construction teams
• Track selections, approvals, permits, and all pre-start requirements
• Communicate with internal teams, architects, designers, and vendors to resolve issues early
• Maintain organized project records within construction management systems
• Identify risks and proactively escalate potential issues
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in construction coordination, estimating, or project support
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience with construction software (JobTread, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar)
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a remote environment
• Reliable, professional, and accountable
• Estimating or pre-construction experience is a plus
