Business Analyst II

Overview

The Billing Operations team is looking for a Senior Analyst to drive our billing assurance strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses a controls mindset. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end manual billing process at Mastercard working directly with product and finance business partners across the company. They will perform process analysis & design, project implementation and transition activities along with core operational billing.

Role

  • Works with key product and finance stakeholders and other resources to established service level agreements, define functional requirements, test and implement billing services.
  • Execute daily, weekly, quarterly & annual billing for assigned products or services based on contractual terms and services rendered by Mastercard.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff both onshore and offshore in completion of shared deliverables.
  • Analyze billing data, research trends, identify issues and follow-up on resolutions.
  • Respond to help desk inquiries within the Service Level Agreement [SLA] area of expertise, provide business knowledge and technical/functional support to business units.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within area of responsibility; coordinate with leadership and stakeholders to prioritize and implement improvements.
  • Research and resolve production billing issues and incidents related to your manual billing.

  • Be able to perform complex issue resolution.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of customer service and service management frameworks within a diverse, global company.
  • Perform with a customer service mind-set delivering excellent experiences.
  • Proactively build relationships with business partners.
  • Have experience executing controls and assessing their effectiveness.
  • Make recommendations to stakeholders and leadership to improve upon areas of concern.
  • Be able to produce and analyze internal reports with a moderate level of complexity.
