Staff Engineer Process Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to lead process engineering initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, driving process optimization, product transfers, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

What you will do

• Define, standardize, and maintain process documentation (Work Instructions, PFMEA) in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820
• Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process and quality issues
• Manage end-to-end product transfers, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, compliant execution
• Apply SPC, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies to validate, control, and improve manufacturing processes
• Drive yield improvement, quality enhancement, and machine OEE using statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP
• Lead, coach, and mentor engineers to achieve departmental KPIs related to yield, product transfer, and operational performance.
  
  

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5+ years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing
• Strong hands-on experience with process optimization, yield enhancement, or quality improvement initiatives
• Solid working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma analytical tools
• Proven leadership capability, with experience leading or managing a team of people and collaborating across functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong documentation discipline
• Independent, proactive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, teamwork mindset, and basic soldering skills.
