Position Overview

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 2 years of professional experience, specializing in Front-End test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our web applications. The role focuses on Playwright automation, along with other modern testing tools, frameworks, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web applications using Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
• Write robust locators/selectors to handle dynamic UI elements.
• Execute and maintain test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure that test results are documented and reported to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing practices to increase efficiency.
  
  

• 2 years of professional experience in QA Automation (Front-End focus).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (for writing Playwright test scripts).
• Understanding of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, TestNG).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

• Experience in mobile testing (Appium, Detox).
• Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, k6).
• Cloud-based testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices and Docker.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Equivalent work experience will be considered.
