The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

Responsible for providing a safe, effective and efficient Community Development Fund Projects in alignment with the OGC Values and Objectives through safe, careful planning, efficient and effective management, architecture, engineering and civil construction, maintenance, courageous execution and other related services for the CDF Projects.Responsible for providing a safe, effective and efficient Community Development Fund Projects in alignment with the OGC Values and Objectives through safe, careful planning, efficient and effective management, architecture, engineering and civil construction, maintenance, courageous execution and other related services for the CDF Projects.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Assist in the tendering and contract administration process for all qualified Community Development Fund (CDF) infrastructure projects.
• Review, sign, and seal statutory engineering documents and project requirements in compliance with Philippine regulations.
• Coordinate with local government units (LGUs), community stakeholders, contractors, and consultants during all project phases.
• Responsible in safeguarding all documents primarily within the sections while maintaining accuracy, quality, and integrity.
• Adheres to and leads own self and contractors in the strict compliance of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures towards the achievement of targets and objectives.
  
  

• Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• Preferably a holder of Master Plumber Certificate/license
• Must have at least 4 years of experience in civil works planning, design and construction work programming
• Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in civil construction projects or experience in construction management
• With a valid Professional Driver’s License
• Efficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power Point
• Knowledgeable in AUTOCAD, SKETCHUP, CIVIL3D AND STAAD Operation;
• With BOSH/COSH/Safety Officer Certification is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
