Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish, manage and control budget and personal planning for the department.
  • Coordinate with plant controlling the regular monitoring and the budget achievement.
  • Work with QA function in order to analyze failure/scrap and improve the scrape rate and, ensuring the operators in production department to fulfill quality policies.
  • Define and provide the necessary training to develop the know-how of the team members and ensure a competitive service.
  • Evaluate the performance of production team members, encourage innovation and improvement in production field, support team member to complete tasks.
  • Monitor production performance indicators, process quality indicators, absence rate, safety rate of the production team and report periodically to the operations leader.
  • Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes on current running production.
  • Ensure the production capacity in regards to customer demands and initiate in an appropriate time schedule any corresponding actions.
  • Act as new project coordinator for new products, work with new product launch team and design functions to achieve smooth & secure launch for new project.
  • Own-up the environmental and Health & Safety regulations and provide information to appropriate functions.


The Successful Applicant

Key Qualifications

  • 15 years or above MNC operational working experiences, minimum 10 years in production or operation management role in Wire Harness. Engineered textile industry is an advantage.
  • Multinational company working experiences.
  • Familiar with ISO 9000/TS16949 quality system
  • Experiences with Wire Harness manufacturing, familiar with related process.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong influence, coaching, analysis and consulting skills
  • Self-disciplined, result orientation, customer focus.
  • Aptitude for analyzing business needs, determine appropriate solutions and/or opportunities and deploy them
  • Understand financial statements, KPI management, budgeting and all these deploy/management needs.
  • Communicate good both verbally and in writing in English.
