Accountabilities

Encompasses jobs that focus on the strategy, deployment and continuous improvement of end-to-end manufacturing activities optimizing the use of resources in the most efficient way to meet production schedules and standards. Tasks performed include scheduling production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities, identifying the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process as well as researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities

Manufacturing Planning & Control

Manufacturing Production Planning & Control Work Focuses On Managing Production To Optimize The Use Of Resources And Meet Production Schedules And Standards Including

• Planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials;
• Estimating and scheduling the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process;
• Implementing scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime or material/labor shortages;
• Liaising with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Production, and Inventory Planning to understand current and projected future capacity requirements;
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities;
• Measuring, forecasting, and adjusting manufacturing plant capacity
