Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will oversee the companys financial operations, ensuring accuracy in all transactional processes while driving profitability, strategic financial planning, and performance analysis. The role requires hands-on financial management paired with strong strategic capabilities, including P&L ownership, budgeting, financial modeling, and executive-level reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is an advantage.
At least 4 to 5 years of experience in finance management, including 1 to 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly within semiconductor, power generation, or related industries.
Strong background in transactional accounting (EOR process, reconciliations, general ledger, etc.), financial analysis, and management reporting.
Demonstrated capability in strategic P&L ownership, budget forecasting cycles, and building financial models.
Strong business partnering experience, including collaboration with executives and functional leaders.
Experience preparing and delivering presentations to ManCom or senior leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all transactional accounting activities.
Oversee the End-of-Reporting (EOR) process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly financial closing.
Own the strategic P&L, ensuring accuracy of results, identifying variances, and providing actionable insights to improve profitability.
Manage annual and periodic budget forecasting cycles, including preparation, consolidation, and variance analysis.
Build and refine financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and key business decisions.
Prepare and review management reports for both local and regional entities, delivering insights into profitability, cost drivers, and performance trends.
Partner closely with executives and cross-functional leaders to support business decisions through strong financial guidance.
Deliver presentations to ManCom and senior leadership, ensuring clarity and strategic relevance of financial insights.
Conduct in-depth financial and profitability analyses to support operational improvements and business growth initiatives.
Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Work alongside operations teams to understand manufacturing processes and translate them into actionable financial insights that enhance production and cost efficiency.
Lead process improvements and drive optimization of financial workflows, tools, and overall team productivity.
