Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment through effective maintenance planning and scheduling. This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Maintenance Work Planning & Scheduling system while serving as a key link between maintenance operations and preventive maintenance processes. The position supports operational excellence by ensuring maintenance activities are well-planned, resources are optimized, equipment reliability is enhanced, and all maintenance documentation and standards remain current and effective.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will

• Lead the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure maintenance work is prioritized, organized, and executed efficiently.
• Review and prioritize maintenance notifications and manage the work order backlog to support business and production requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs using established maintenance planning standards and methodologies.
• Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance planning meetings and align maintenance activities with annual maintenance plans.
• Track, analyze, and report maintenance performance indicators and in-process measures to support equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
• Identify equipment losses and maintenance improvement opportunities and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance technical documentation, engineering drawings, and maintenance records remain accurate, updated, and easily accessible.
• Support change management processes related to equipment modifications, corrective maintenance activities, and engineering updates.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance teams, storeroom personnel, and other stakeholders to optimize spare parts management and maintenance execution.
• Champion safety standards by promoting compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and company requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in FMCG production, manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering environments.
• Strong organizational, planning, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP Maintenance modules and storeroom management processes.
• Understanding of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) standards.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and training skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in PC applications and maintenance documentation management.
