Job Description

The Large Corporates Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for managing the needs of large and middle‑market corporate clients, including local conglomerates and multinational corporations. The role focuses on cultivating trust and partnership, positioning the RM as a key banker for existing and potential clients. The RM drives portfolio profitability by delivering timely and appropriate financial solutions, ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to the Bank’s policies and regulatory guidelines.

Core Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management – Manages a portfolio of corporate clients and ensures profitability. Cultivates trust and partnership through sales calls, client engagements, and visits, addressing client needs promptly and in compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Revenue and Income Growth – Ensures attainment of income and volume targets by implementing business development strategies. Expands product penetration and wallet share through tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction, retention, and competitive positioning.
  • Customer Care – Ensures a positive client experience by soliciting feedback, conducting competitive scans, and leveraging market intelligence. Works closely with product groups, channels, operations, legal, and compliance teams to drive product development and service enhancements.
  • Loan Negotiation, Documentation, and Administration – Collaborates with Credit teams to structure loan packages and manage timely renewals. Negotiates terms and conditions with clients, ensures complete documentation, and assists in presenting accounts to credit approving bodies.
  • Monitoring Loan Portfolio Credit Quality – Monitors credit quality of loan portfolios and ensures compliance with policies and standards. Develops recovery strategies for deteriorating loans and pursues options for loan recovery, escalating to the Special Account Management Department when necessary.
  • People Management – Trains and guides Service Associates in daily activities to meet client expectations and achieve bank objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Banking, Accounting, Finance, or other business‑related disciplines
  • Minimum of 3 years of banking experience serving corporate accounts (service staff, account management, products, or channels)
  • Strong knowledge of markets, credit and lending, operations, risk management, and commercial banking products and services
  • Familiarity with Philippine regulatory standards and compliance guidelines
  • Experience working with corporate clients and cross‑selling financial solutions
