About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Planner/Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services that support business operations.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic procurement initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier selection, bidding, negotiation, contracting, and purchase order management.
Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and reliable service delivery.
Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and service agreements to achieve optimal business outcomes.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Support procurement activities for both direct and indirect materials and services.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure procurement solutions align with organizational goals.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation in accordance with company policies.
Analyze spending trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to procurement projects, process enhancements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or related functions.
Solid understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, and contract administration.
Experience with supplier evaluation, sourcing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement or ERP systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or operational environments.
Knowledge of inventory management, supply planning, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Purchasing is an advantage.
