Job Description

  • Defining and establishing the needs, baseline and reference for Culture of Quality initiatives through timely and relevant conduct of relevant social, demographical, focused-group studies, and data analysis.
  • Achieving mature Level Culture of Quality (using applicable metrics as defined by the organization’s leadership) through effective, timely and efficient design and development of initiatives coming from conducted analysis.
  • Ensuring effective, timely and efficient implementation of culture of quality behavioral programs by conducting trainings, learning sessions, project management and communications to build work environment and mindset that prevent quality escapes, i.e., to provide customer protection
  • Attaining a wide organizational scope of quality culture by preparing and engaging the relevant stakeholders mentally and behaviorally to support the success of technical and non-technical quality programs and processes.
  • Ensuring a wide sharing and deployment of lessons across organization by creating avenues where general population will be well-informed of significant quality issues and the lessons learned.
  • Assuring continuity of quality programs by maintaining, updating and upgrading Culture of Quality programs that
    • Provides appreciation of the criticality of Moog’s product quality and its potential impact to the employees, products, services and to our customers;
    • Prevents training- related quality and safety issues;
    • Defines and impart the need for everyone’s engagement to fully achieve Built-in Quality and Zero-Defect-Mindset; and
    • Imparts quality-related lessons learned to encourage horizontal deployment.
  • Ensuring a wide organizational scope in the deployment of quality initiatives, i.e., covering relevant functions including (but not limited to) Operations personnel, Engineering, Supply Chain, Administrative Support, HR and Quality departments.
  • Providing focus on sustainability by ensuring that programs are documented, standardized and instituted in applicable value streams, systems and processes.
Required Skills/Background

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering and/or Psychology or related courses with strong orientation towards quality discipline.
  • At least three (3) years of manufacturing or industrial experience preferably in an aerospace company. In addition, the position requires good communication and interpersonal skills and a qualified trainer.
  • Proven general capabilities in the following dimensions: Applied Learning, Building Strategic Relationships, Communication, Training , Creativity/Innovation, Initiating action, Planning and Organizing
  • Proven specific capabilities in: conceptualization, implementation and evaluation of learning programs and activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate change management. Incumbent must be a change agent himself/herself.
  • Working knowledge of the Lean Manufacturing System, Problem Solving, Continuous improvement and Zero-Defect-Mindset.
