CREDIT ANALYST BACOILOD CITY

The Credit Analyst is responsible for providing primary support to Credit Officers in the credit review and evaluation of borrowers to ensure sound credit decisions and risk management.

Major Responsibilities

• Assists in credit evaluation and risk analysis, including preparation of credit proposals and related assessments.
• Requests and reviews required reports such as credit investigation, collateral appraisal, industry reports, and conducts trade and bank checks as needed.
• Coordinates with clients and relationship managers to obtain updated financial statements and supporting documents.
• Participates in client interviews together with the Credit Officer and Relationship Manager, when required.
• Prepares financial spreadsheets, analyses, and supporting documents for credit offerings, term loan reviews, group fact sheets, offering memoranda, and simple credit proposals.
• Supports the Credit Officer in drafting written assessments of clients’ creditworthiness.
• Assists in credit monitoring, including timely renewal of credit facilities and term loan reviews.
• Provides administrative support such as monitoring work inventory, processing expenses, maintaining records, and handling system-related requests.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or banking is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit evaluation principles.
• Proficient analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working with internal stakeholders and clients.
