We’re on the lookout for a talented and passionate Business Analyst to join our dynamic Digital team.
In this role, you’ll sit at the heart of innovation, working closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to shape and deliver exceptional digital experiences across Sky Box, Sky Pod, and Sky Go. You’ll bring ideas to life by translating business needs into clear, thoughtful requirements that empower our teams to create seamless, customer-centric solutions.
The Business Analyst plays a key role in connecting strategy to delivery. You’ll build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and ensure everyone is aligned and moving in the same direction.
NGĀ HAEPAPA | ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capturing and conveying requirements and insights that help define how best to innovate applications that provide streaming services for our customers
- Exploring opportunities with the use of collaborative practices, tools, and techniques
- Identifying any gaps (happy path/exceptions) and capturing/implementing improvements
- Deep-diving on problems and providing options on ways to progress the product evolution
- Prioritising and articulating requirements into epics, features, user stories, and defining acceptance criteria
- Ensuring that impacts, risks, and issues are always constantly managed and visible inside and outside the team(s)
- Initiating and developing any tailored collateral for operational teams and stakeholders to use
- Working with stakeholders, product, CX/UX/UI, architects, content and metadata specialists, developers, digital marketers, and others in across Sky to bring to life the product(s)

You’re Driven To Improve How Things Work, Inspired By Diverse Perspectives, And Known For Your Positive, Pragmatic Approach To Helping Teams Succeed Together. Together With This You Will Have
- Tech savvy mindset, ideally with knowledge of the media industry. You know when to seek specialist advice and are experienced at pulling different points of view together to form cohesive outcomes.
- Experience and knowledge of Product Delivery/Project Management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches
- Proven quality in process, benefit, and analysis skills/tools
- Strong track record in clearly written and articulated process that identify and enable our teams to innovate
- Excellent business and people acumen
- Demonstrated experience as a communicator/influencer enabling positive change within the organisation and alignment across teams
- Exemplified/demonstrated strong relationships with key stakeholders, operational teams, and related Corporate Core technology squads
- A drive for action, with a creative and dynamic ability in working across the organisation to get things done.
