HIRING: Short-Term Rental Virtual Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Short-Term Rental (STR) Virtual Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our vacation rental business. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with Airbnb or other short-term rental platforms and can efficiently manage guest communication, property coordination, and vendor relationships while ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest communications through email, SMS, and booking platforms in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain property listings, calendars, and booking availability across multiple platforms.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up until issues are fully resolved.
• Source, vet, and coordinate vendors such as cleaners, handymen, and contractors using Thumbtack and similar platforms.
• Request and compare vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and recommend the best service providers.
• Maintain accurate vendor databases, maintenance logs, and issue tracking records.
• Ensure vendors complete assigned work within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Provide basic bookkeeping and administrative support as needed.
• Escalate major property or guest issues to the client and maintain detailed documentation of all actions taken.
  
  

• Previous experience supporting a Short-Term Rental (STR), Airbnb, or Vacation Rental business is required.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities independently.
• Proficiency with booking platforms, Google Workspace, and other administrative tools.
• Experience using vendor sourcing platforms such as Thumbtack is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote work setup.
