NOTE: You must be willing to work in the office in the above office location to apply for this position

Job Description

What staff will be doing initially:

• Assisting in freight invoice checking against freight quotes/rates provided.
• Follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure Purchase Orders move swiftly.
• Obtain freight quotes and negotiate where required.
• Monitor and track shipments
• Advise currency requirements.
• Prepare Purchase Orders
• Data updates and price list updates as required.
  
  

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Able to use Excel, Word, Outlook, and good at learning new systems.
• Preferably Business analytics, cost accounting, and financial knowledge.
  
  

Essential Skills And Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing/Procurement or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders
• Demonstrates A+ professional qualities, including positive energy, confidence, and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive and supportive working environment
