General Manager

My client, a global manufacturing firm, is looking for a General Manager to oversee their plant operations in Angeles, Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including production planning, inventory management, procurement, and distribution, to meet customer demand and delivery targets.
• Implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to functional managers and supervisors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the operations team, encouraging feedback and collaboration.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-control measures to optimize resource allocation and maximize profitability.
• Provide regular reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders on operational performance, initiatives, and achievements.

• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in manufacturing industries (e.g. Electronics Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Medical Products etc.)
• Proven track record in leading complex operations and driving operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and overall business operations (particularly HR and Finance).
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills managing high-performing teams.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred and considered an advantage.
