Job Description

We’re looking for an Estimating Support Representative. I want to highlight the requirements for responsibility and responsiveness – we have a lot of internal issues with a lack of responsibility and with ensuring things are fully taken care of.

We’re looking for a highly accountable offshore Estimating Support Representative to work alongside our internal estimating team and sales team. This role combines technical quoting with day-to-day inbox and deal management. You’ll be producing detailed quotes for our AdaptaStep and Z-Stack product ranges – complex, configuration-heavy systems that require you to read site plans, interpret access requirements, and work through our configurator to build accurate estimates. Alongside the quoting work, you’ll own the inbox, drive follow-ups, and keep HubSpot up to date. If technical precision, communication, ownership, and accountability are things you take pride in, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity takeoffs from site plans, drawings, and project documentation to determine access and platform requirements, or work alongside the technical team for technical requirements
  • Use the SafeSmart Access configurator system to build and produce detailed quotes for AdaptaStep (modular temporary stair and step access systems) and Z-Stack (modular elevated work platforms and decking systems)
  • Interpret project scope and site conditions to configure the right product combination -platform height, deck size, load ratings, and ancillary components
  • Liaise with the internal estimating rep to clarify scope, confirm configurations, and ensure quotes are accurate before they go out
  • Monitor and manage the group email inbox daily – no email left unaddressed
  • Triage, action, and follow up on all incoming enquiries and quote requests promptly
  • Update HubSpot with accurate deal information after every interaction – stage, quote value, configuration notes, and next steps
  • Track outstanding items and proactively chase for updates or decisions
  • Flag urgent or time-sensitive matters immediately to the relevant team member

Qualification & Requirements

What were you really looking for

  • Technical quoting ability – You understand how to read site drawings and translate access requirements into a fully configured, accurate quote. You ask smart questions when something isn’t clear rather than guessing. You take pride in quotes that are right the first time.
  • Product system understanding – You’ll be trained on AdaptaStep and Z-Stack, but a background in temporary access, formwork, scaffolding, or modular construction systems will get you up to speed faster. You understand that these aren’t catalogue items; every quote is a configuration.
  • Hyper-responsible by nature – You don’t need to be reminded to check the inbox. You take personal ownership of every task and don’t consider something done until it’s actually done.
  • Relentless follow-through – Following up is second nature. You track open items, chase responses, and keep the internal team accountable without being asked.
  • Genuinely responsive – You reply quickly. During business hours, emails and messages get a response within a reasonable timeframe. Silence is never your answer.
  • HubSpot discipline – Every deal interaction is logged. Quote values, configuration details, stage changes, email outcomes — HubSpot is always current because you treat it as the single source of truth, not an afterthought.

Requirments

  • Strong written English communication skills
  • Prior experience in a technical estimating, quoting, or construction support role
  • Experience using a configurator, quoting tool, or estimating software (full training on our specific system provided)
  • Comfortable working within US business hours (or agreed overlap window)
  • Proficient with email, NetSuite, and HubSpot CRM
