We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support microbiological validation testing and lab operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role involves performing endotoxin and bioburden testing, preparing microbial cultures, conducting growth promotion, and supporting general lab maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on microbiology experience, strong documentation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Duties Include:

• Endotoxin and bioburden testing
• General lab duties (cleaning, inventory, stocking, cold room, 5S, etc.)
• Challenge recovery of in-process, cell culture, purification, drug substance and raw material samples
• Preparation of microbial cultures used in for validation protocols, developmental studies, and growth promotion
• Growth promotion testing
• Mold spore suspensions
• Plate reading
• Data verification and review
• Technical Writing
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a cGMP Quality Control Microbiology laboratory
• Hands-on experience with standard microbiological methods and aseptic techniques, including:
  • Bioburden testing (membrane filtration)
  • Endotoxin testing (LAL)
• Familiarity with cGMP guidelines
• Prior experience working in a laboratory environment
• Experience using LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of experimental design and scientific methodology, with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
• Authorized to work in the United States without restriction or the need for sponsorship

The position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Andover, MA are encouraged to apply.
