Job Description
- Act as the Voice of the Customer, investigating concerns, nonconformances, and complaints through root cause analysis and corrective action
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality systems, tools, and inspection processes
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to support new product launches and process changes
- Review internal nonconforming material and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Support and guide Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with quality system and customer requirements
- Improve first article, in-process, and final inspection methods and documentation
- Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports; lead submissions at higher levels
- Support audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and contribute to maintaining the Quality Management System
- Promote safety, 6S practices, and organized work environments

The Successful Applicant
- Associate degree or higher in a related field (Bachelors preferred for senior level)
- Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of inspection methods, machine shop gauging, and blueprint reading
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive improvements to completion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation tools
- For senior-level candidates: aerospace experience, GD&T expertise, audit leadership, and AS9102 knowledge
- Direct influence on quality strategy and manufacturing performance
- Strong partnership with engineering and operations teams
