  • Philippines: USD $2,000 - $2,500/month
  • Latin America: USD $2,300 - $2,800/month

Industry: Real Estate Investment / Development

Schedule: Full-time, aligned with U.S. Western Time zone (Pacific Time) with some flexibility

About The Company

Our client is a U.S.-based real estate investment and development firm specialising in multifamily, single-family subdivisions and mixed‐use projects across the Western United States. They operate with a data-driven, value-add mindset and manage a growing portfolio of properties.

They are seeking a skilled Yardi Breeze practitioner to join their operations team to support accounting, property management-system implementations and ongoing portfolio reporting/maintenance.

Role Overview

You will be the go-to Yardi Breeze expert for a real estate investment firm’s growing property portfolio. Your focus will be on system setup, configuration, process optimisation, reporting, and automation within the Yardi Breeze environment. You’ll work closely with operations, property managers, accounting and the U.S.-based leadership team to ensure their Yardi platform supports scalable growth, accurate data, and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure and maintain Yardi Breeze modules (leasing, accounting, maintenance, owner reporting) for a portfolio of residential and mixed-use assets.
  • Perform system setup tasks: property roll-outs, unit onboarding, chart-of-accounts alignment, lease template configuration, user permissions.
  • Manage and reconcile data entry: rent roll uploads, vendor payables, receivables, tenant billing, lease abstracts, owner distributions.
  • Develop, maintain and distribute owner and investor-friendly reports and dashboards; troubleshoot data-quality issues.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within the Yardi Breeze environment to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as liaison between U.S.-based operations/finance leadership and remote implementation team; communicate clearly in written English.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to property and accounting staff on Yardi Breeze usage, policy adherence and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, real estate accounting standards and audit readiness.
  • Act as the primary contact for tenants and dispatch on site maintenance and necessary staff as needed to remedy any situations

Hard Skills Required

  • Proven hands-on experience with Yardi Breeze (or equivalent property-management software) in a property-management, development or real-estate investment environment.
  • Strong understanding of real-estate accounting: GL structure, payables/receivables, owner/asset reporting, lease administration.
  • Solid data-entry and data-management skills: rent rolls, vendor records, lease abstracts, tenant records.
  • Proficiency in working with Excel (or Google Sheets) to manipulate, reconcile and analyse data.
  • Ability to work with U.S.-based time zones (Pacific Time) and adapt to occasional overlapping hours.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills — able to author documentation, train users, follow remote workflows.

Soft Skills Required

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and process-driven — with a mindset of continuous improvement and “clean data”.
  • Self-sufficient, proactive and able to work remotely with minimal supervision; comfortable owning tasks end-to-end.
  • Good communicator: able to translate technical/system changes into business-friendly language for operations and accounting users.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and accountable — you will be handling critical data and reporting functions for the portfolio.
  • Flexible and adaptable — as the business grows, you will support expanding asset types and scaling systems.

About The Candidate

You are a mid-to‐senior level real-estate systems/operations professional who thrives building and optimising systems in a growth-stage investment business. You understand both the “real-estate side” (leases, tenants, owner distributions) and the “systems side” (software configuration, data integrity, reporting). You prefer a remote role, value clarity of expectation, appreciate structured processes, and are comfortable working across time zones with a U.S. team.

Why This Role Matters

With this role you’ll be enabling a fast-growing real-estate business to scale via robust systems rather than manual spreadsheets. You’ll help ensure the accounting and operations teams have accurate, timely data and streamlined workflows so the leadership team can focus on deals and growth — not chasing down data errors or system gaps.

Salary Recommendation Rationale

  • We benchmarked Yardi Breeze specialist/implementation roles in the U.S. market (approx. USD $60k-$75k annually) which translates into roughly USD $5,000-$6,200
  • For offshore remote talent in the Philippines, a fair range is USD $2,000-$2,500/month high enough to attract candidates with strong real-estate/systems experience.
  • For Latin America talent, slightly higher at USD $2,300-$2,800/month given timezone alignment, expected English proficiency and regional market rates.
