Overview

This role supports a fast-growing education and training company by ensuring accurate, organized, and reliable financial records. You will handle complex reconciliations, clean up historical data, and maintain day-to-day bookkeeping operations. The role works closely with leadership to provide financial clarity as the business continues to scale.



Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: Equivalent of USD 1020 in the applicants local currency

Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (40 hours per week) | UK Time (London)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile Xero accounting software daily and maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform complex reconciliation between Xero accounts and Ontraport CRM system
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies between sales orders and accounting entries
  • Work through approximately two years of reconciliation backlog systematically
  • Match transactions and identify inconsistencies using detailed transaction notes
  • Handle monthly subscription revenue reconciliation for education services
  • Manage accounting for trainer payments and operational expenses
  • Provide financial insights to support business growth and decision-making
  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping operations with attention to detail
  • Support multiple business entities under the company structure



Requirements

  • Strong experience with Xero accounting software (essential)
  • Proven bookkeeping experience with complex reconciliation work
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Ontraport experience is a bonus)
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented approach to manual reconciliation processes
  • Experience with subscription-based or service businesses preferred
  • Bonus if you have experience with multi-entity accounting structures
  • It helps if you’re comfortable working with UK-based businesses

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional pay rate is based on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
