Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Video Editor who can support our marketing team by producing engaging social media content and assisting with various marketing tasks. The ideal candidate is highly familiar with multiple social media platforms, understands current trends, and is comfortable managing content calendars and posting schedules. Strong organizational skills—especially with Google Sheets or Excel—are essential.


Job Highlights

  • Paid Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with 1 hour unpaid break | Central Time
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Content Creation

  • Edit high-quality short-form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
  • Add captions, transitions, effects, and other enhancements to increase engagement.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips when needed.
  • Ensure content matches brand voice, guidelines, and aesthetics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and viral formats.


Social Media Management

  • Post videos and other content across all major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Manage daily scheduling and content calendars.
  • Assist in brainstorming and planning social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor analytics and performance to identify improvement opportunities.


Marketing Support

  • Assist with various marketing tasks as assigned (email templates, simple graphics, captions writing, etc.).
  • Organize and track content, ideas, and campaigns using Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Support influencer outreach, research, and basic competitor analysis when needed.
  • Help maintain a consistent and fresh online presence.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video editing for social media (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS).
  • Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM and automation.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and current social media trends.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets/Excel for tracking content and performance.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Experience with social media posting tools (optional but a plus).
