Ecommerce Video Editor (VSL, UGC & Talking-Head Specialist)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM GST (Dubai Time) About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Video Editor with deep expertise in direct-response content, including VSLs, social-optimized UGC, and high-retention Talking-Head ads. This role requires both strong creative instincts and a data-driven mindset—someone who understands how to craft videos that grab attention, build emotional connection, and convert viewers into buyers.

You will be responsible for producing fast-paced, persuasive, platform-optimized videos that align with performance goals across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and landing pages. If you thrive in ecommerce, understand what makes an ad sell, and can consistently deliver scroll-stopping content, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities Direct-Response Video Production

  • Produce high-converting Video Sales Letters (VSLs), including structuring hooks, pacing narratives, managing proofs, and optimizing emotional flow.

  • Edit Talking-Head ads with strong emphasis on retention techniques, punch-in transitions, kinetic captions, pattern breaks, and thumb-stopping openers.

  • Create UGC-style ads that feel native, social-first, and authentic across Meta & TikTok.

Creative Strategy & Research

  • Conduct competitor research and analyze high-performing ads to inform angles, hooks, and storytelling frameworks.

  • Translate creative briefs into compelling visual scripts and sequences.

  • Collaborate with creative strategists to refine storyboards, concepts, and messaging.

Technical Editing & Platform Optimization

  • Seamlessly integrate AI voiceovers, stock footage, dynamic typography, and branded elements.

  • Apply best practices for each platform—safe zones, text placement, pacing, compliance rules, and Meta “deadzones.”

  • Maintain consistent brand identity across all deliverables.

Workflow & Collaboration

  • Work within structured SOPs, creative pipelines, and review cycles.

  • Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure projects meet performance and quality benchmarks.

  • Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and elevate creative quality.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Proven, specialized experience editing ecommerce ads (VSLs, UGC, Talking-Head).

  • Mandatory: A strong, relevant portfolio demonstrating direct-response editing.

  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent).

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, creative psychology, and retention-first editing.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple edits simultaneously, and maintain high standards under fast turnaround times.

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment.

  • Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management tools is a plus.

  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week), with potential flexibility after proving reliability and independence.
