Job Description

The Vendor Account Manager (eCommerce) is a pivotal role in the growth and sustainability of our online sales platform. The primary objective of this position is to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, facilitating an exceptional partnership that enhances product collection, boosts sales, and satisfies consumer demand. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, experienced in managing multiple vendor accounts while striving for achievement of both short-term sales goals and long-term strategic initiatives. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses acute analytical abilities, and has a robust understanding of the eCommerce landscape, including current industry trends and consumer behaviors. The Vendor Account Manager will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to ensure process improvements and implement best practices, leading to seamless operational integration with vendors.


Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with eCommerce vendors to optimize collaboration.
  • Identify new opportunities for product expansion and competitive analysis in the online space.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive vendor sales performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment in product listing and inventory management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors to go over sales figures and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate product demand and manage vendor inventory levels accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to maximize business profitability and efficiency.
  • Resolve operational issues and disputes that arise between vendors and the eCommerce platform.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest eCommerce tools, technologies, and trends.
  • Compile comprehensive sales and performance reports for key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ensure all vendor accounts adhere to compliance and quality standards set by the company.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing vendor accounts in eCommerce settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution with partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and digital marketing strategies is essential.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus, enhancing global vendor relations.
