Job Description

Join a supportive and fast-paced remote team where you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and keeping operations running smoothly each day. In this position, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients—answering morning calls professionally, managing overnight messages, and ensuring every inquiry is handled or routed correctly. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate client records in TaxSlayer, organizing and uploading important documents, and coordinating client appointments to keep everything on track.



Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST



Responsibilities

  • Answer morning calls and provide professional customer support
  • Handle messages received overnight and respond or route them appropriately
  • Enter and maintain accurate client data in TaxSlayer
  • Assist with uploading and organizing client documents
  • Schedule and manage client appointments



Required Skills for This Position

  • Strong written English communication skills
  • Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software tools
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for remote work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized and consistent in managing tasks and information



Preferred but Not Required (Training Provided)

  • Experience using TaxSlayer (required for tax data entry once trained)
  • Familiarity with CRM workflow systems
  • Experience with Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets
  • Experience using PDF editing tools
  • Familiarity with phone systems such as RingCentral, Grasshopper, or similar platforms
