Job Description:

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial processes for a company that appreciates professional expertise. This role offers the flexibility to work on your schedule while ensuring accurate financial records and smooth client payment processes. You’ll work independently with a team that values getting things done right the first time.


Responsibilities:

  • Run bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Generate and prepare financial reports for management review
  • Send invoices to clients and maintain billing schedules
  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments and collections
  • Handle standard day-to-day bookkeeping operations
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Support month-end and period-end closing processes
  • Support with admin operational tasks when needed


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience in the US market
  • Experience working with US accounting firms or companies directly
  • Proficiency in standard bookkeeping software and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Excellent communication skills for client follow-up and collections
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bonus if you have experience with small business accounting workflows
