About the Role

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our financial operations with a primary focus on accounts payable, credit card, bank transaction entry and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong accuracy, excellent record-keeping skills, and experience handling high-volume multi-entity transaction entry.

What you’ll do

• Accounts Payable
• Enter and code vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner using Bill.com
• Review invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment
• Maintain vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies
• Reconcile accounts payable aging and follow up on outstanding items
• Credit Card Expense Management
• Enter and code employee and corporate credit card transactions
• Review receipts and supporting documentation for policy compliance
• Communicate with employees to resolve missing receipts or coding issues
• Accounts Receivable
• Review and reconcile daily credit card settlements
• Review, gather and submit additional documentation to resolve credit card disputes
• Assist with basic collections activities
• Bookkeeping
• Enter bank transactions in accounting software
• Prepare basic journal entires
• Assist with month end close tasks
• Generate basic financial reports
• Reconciliations
• Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts monthly
• Verify accuracy of general ledger postings and identify discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
• Compliance & Internal Controls
• Assist with recordkeeping related to 1099 and property tax filings
• Assist in documenting SOPs for basic accounting duties

Work hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM PHT)

Work set-up: Remote

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting support, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable, reconciliations, and multi-entity environments.
• Solid understanding of accrual-based accounting; experience with GAAP-compliant processes is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with bank and credit card reconciliations
• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, etc.)
• Experience with multi-entity accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy; able to catch and correct coding or posting errors
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage high volumes of transactions and competing deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; able to collaborate asynchronously and escalate issues proactively.
• Demonstrated reliability, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive financial data
