Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM GMT, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize Xero accounting software for seamless daily operations
  • Process payments efficiently through integrated construction industry software systems
  • Develop and monitor budget forecasts and cash flow projections to support business growth
  • Manage comprehensive payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle diverse accounting activities that keep the business running smoothly
  • Ensure full compliance with UK tax obligations and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) requirements
  • Collaborate effectively with external accounting partners for year-end processes and strategic planning


Requirements

  • Proven experience with XERO accounting software (MUST)
  • Strong expertise in UK business accounting practices and tax compliance (MUST)
  • Construction industry accounting experience highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of CIS regulations and construction-specific financial requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with integrated software platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy


Side Note

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
