Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated UI/UX Designer Intern to join our product design team. This role is ideal for individuals who have strong visual design skills, an eye for detail, and a solid understanding of user centered design principles. You will work directly with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to create intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging user experiences across web and mobile applications.

As a UI/UX Intern, you will participate in design research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and delivering high fidelity UI assets. You must be structured, fast learning, technically sound, and able to convert complex product requirements into clean and scalable design interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, user journeys, and business goals.
• Conduct competitor analysis, user research, and usability evaluations to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Design clean and scalable wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high fidelity UI designs.
• Create responsive layouts for web and mobile applications using modern design systems.
• Prepare design assets, components, and documentation that align with brand guidelines.
• Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders, developers, and user testing.
• Ensure that the final product is consistent, accessible, and optimized for performance.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the company’s design system and UI standards.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation and smooth handoff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Design, UI/UX, HCI, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 0-1 year of experience in UI/UX design (internship, freelance, academic projects acceptable).
• Strong proficiency with modern design tools: Figma (mandatory), Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar.
• Understanding of UX fundamentals: user flows, information architecture, wireframing, and usability testing.
• Ability to create clean, modern, and systematic UI layouts with attention to typography and spacing.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus (not mandatory).
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a structured and deadline driven remote environment.
• Portfolio is mandatory (include UI/UX case studies, process explanations, and final output).
