We’re looking for a Test Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality software applications and solutions. In this role, you’ll perform key testing and quality assurance activities across the SDLC, including test case writing and execution, test case review/approval, defect documentation, and validation documentation where required.
You’ll manage your own assignments and schedule, work closely with cross-functional project teams, and serve as a testing resource to other departments for assigned modules.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Partner with project team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Create, review, and execute test cases and test scripts to ensure coverage and quality.
Document defects, track outcomes, and provide regular testing status to project teams.
Create test data and other required test assets.
Draft required SDLC and validation documentation (when applicable).
Follow defined validation processes and produce compliant validation documents.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when needed; review UAT results for quality and SDLC adherence.
Maintain traceability between testing activities and system requirements.
Contribute to testing process improvements as required.
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and commitment to testing deliverables.
Meet project timelines tied to assigned testing tasks.
Support GTD staff on internal initiatives as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
2–5 years of manual and/or automated end-to-end software testing, including web application testing.
Skills & Competencies
Solid experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong hands-on testing skills with an understanding of QA and development processes.
Strong analytical ability with a proven capability to interpret and validate business requirements.
Practical experience using modern test management, defect tracking, and requirements tools.
Confident working in a team-oriented environment, including providing backup support.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
“Can-do” attitude and collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with GCP.
Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11.
Experience with defect tracking software (if not already covered above).
